I looked back at my post on 5/6 and realized I was spot on about a lot of things. I did get very busy for a while which affected my eating habits. Somehow when you get busy or "out of sorts," well-made plans fall by the wayside. Planning or preparation is important though. For example, you can plan to drink 3 bottles of water each day or plan to exercise 3 times a week.
"If you fail to prepare/plan, prepare to fail." - attributed to Benjamin Franklin
"To be prepared is half the victory." - Miguel De Cervantes
You can anticipate problems and work that into your plans. Knowledge from your past will help.
I anticipated lots of food with a lot of tasty, high-calorie food options at the recent wedding so I prepared for it by eating a healthy, hunger-busting snack before getting there.
"In order to plan your future wisely, it is necessary that you understand and appreciate your past."
- Jo Coudert
"Happy is the person who knows what to remember of the past, what to enjoy in the present, and what to plan for in the future."
- Arnold H. Glasow
